Use malachite in intentional healing sessions rather than as a daily carry stone, particularly when beginning to work with it. Its energy is intense and requires integration time. Hold polished malachite over a specific area of tension or pain for 5-15 minutes with the intention that it draws out what needs to leave. Remove and cleanse immediately after - malachite absorbs actively and must be cleansed thoroughly after each use (moonlight or sage smoke, never water). Do not sleep with malachite initially. Once you have established a working relationship with the stone's energy, you can increase duration and frequency. Combine with rose quartz to soften the process, or with black tourmaline for protection during deep clearing work.
Malachite works primarily at the Heart chakra (Anahata) and Solar Plexus (Manipura), with a secondary action at the Throat (Vishuddha).
